CarPulse ("we", "us") provides a vehicle GPS tracking and fleet‑management platform at carpulse.tech. Location and telematics data can relate to identifiable individuals (e.g. drivers), and is therefore treated as personal data.
If you use CarPulse to track vehicles or drivers, you are the controller of that data and we act as your processor; a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. Our support chat widget may set additional cookies; these load only after you accept the cookie notice. We do not use advertising or cross‑site tracking cookies.

We do not sell your data. Our tracking backend (Traccar) is self‑hosted by us — telematics data is not shared with third parties for their own purposes.
We aim to keep data within the EU/EEA. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Account data is kept while your account is active. Location/trip history is retained for 12 months and then deleted or anonymised. You can request earlier deletion (see your rights). Backups are rotated regularly.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise these, email support@carpulse.tech. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten). Where we rely on your consent (for example, non‑essential cookies), you may withdraw it at any time. We do not carry out automated decision‑making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Providing your data is necessary to create an account and use the service; without it we cannot provide CarPulse.
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
CarPulse is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the latest version and material changes will be notified in‑app or by email.
